Actually, no tears, although I worried she was going to once she noticed any one of the half dozen or so other kids in her class clinging to their mums and crying. But she was a big brave girl (and knows her big brother is just a few classrooms away).
A writer, poet and mother of three, my short story collection 'Svetlana or otherwise' was released in 2008, my poetry collections 'First taste' in 2010 and 'That zero year', co-written with Andrew Phillips, in 2012. I've been laid up with the genealogy bug for some time. Studying my Masters in Information Studies, where I currently can't choose between Librarian or Archivist.
