Give-away

It's hard to believe it is almost one year since my little baby 'Svetlana or otherwise' was freed into the world. To celebrate, I want to give a copy away.

All you have to do is leave a comment letting me know what kind of things you'd like me to talk about here in this blog. Do this by 9th February (Svetlana's birthday) and consider yourself in the running. If there are enough excellent comments I might even give a copy of the current issue of page seventeen away too. So, get cracking.

Hi Tiggy, I have just discovered your blog after picking up the latest copy of Victorian Writer which leapt off the library shelf. I have just moved from Tasmania to Gippsland, so this is the first time I have read that particular magazine (and I intend to take out a subscription).
What would I like to see you blog about? Staying the course.
Working(mostly)in isolation is one of the most difficult things about writing and your blog could be the friend we all need to keep us on track, motivated, enthused and, above all, to feel a little less lonely as we plough on toward that ultimate goal of finishing a book/poem/novel etc. At the moment I am reading the wonderful Bird By Bird, by Anne Lamott, which is about as close as I can get to having a buddy in the room as I tap away at the keyboard. Your blog would be another great buddy.
All the best -
Carol

Thanks for your comment Carol. I will certainly try to help out with some of those things. Hope you've settled in nicely after such a big move.

Hi Tiggy,
I agree with Carol, it's always nice to know that there are others out there slogging away at the keyboard. Debating with their characters, searching for that perfect phrase, that image they want to set in concrete.
And because you do get around so much, as in festivals, events, gigs, any updates on up and comings would be great.
